Where have I been? Oh where to start... being a maid of honor, taking on the town of Malvern with Malvern Stroll and King Street, moving my grandparents down south, planning events for Her Main Line and enjoying summer's mini adventures. Oh my! 

Please be patient though as I'll be trying to post most regularly again. Perhaps weekly to start? You know I'm a creature of habit (and lists and a good planner). Anyways, here's what I'm wanting and needing. What's been on your shopping list?

I feel like all I've done in the past few weeks is shop. Maybe it's just that I'm ready for a new season, a fresh feel or have been emotionally stress buying? I don't know. All I know is, I'm sorry credit card. The most random of things have caught my eye. I love the idea of a multi-pupose candle, an insulated (and cute) tote for summer and a keyring that doubles as a chic bracelet when your hands are full. What have you discovered recently?

Seriously, can it be spring yet? I know that's the most "basic white girl" thing for me to say but I mean it. I'm over layering, I'm over boots, I'm over dry cracked hands and most definitely over temperatures below my age. 

It's such a tease that stores are now filled to the brim with sundresses, gauzy shirts and sandals. I want it but I can't wear! Thanks to Mr. Groundhog apparently I have to wait 6 more weeks. Can't a girl catch a spring style break?

I guess by now I don't have to restate my love for snail mail. Oh wait I just did... Anyway, there's nothing better than a handwritten note, especially when it comes to love letters. Do you think Romeo & Juliet, Elizabeth & Mr. Darcy, Noah & Allie would have emailed or texted their love for one another? No, there's no romance in that, people! 

This Valentine's Day step up your writing and courting game with a handwritten note of admiration. We're throwing it back old school. And don't forget to spritz a splash of your signature scent on it!

Ouch! Did you feel that? Oh that was just cupid's arrow striking you with the Valentine's bug. Yes, it's every girl in a relationship favorite time of year and every single gal's nightmare. Valentine's has arrived. Well in a few days. 

So whether your man's treating you to dinner and roses or your having a girl's nigh in with your gal pals... or hey if you're sulking at home watching SATC reruns in your pjs crying over your ex (no judgement, we've all been there)... why no indulge in everything pink, red and heart adorned?!

I think I'm still on a birthday high. I had the BEST weekend celebrating the big 2-5 with all my friends. The party turned out adorable. Check out some of the pics here. Seriously, the best. Now it's time to do some bday shopping. That birthday money is burning a hole in my pocket and I need something to commemorate a quarter of a century in age. 

I'm looking at investing in a new designer handbag, Hermes bangle or wallet but in the meantime these little pretties will be perfect fillers. I've had my eyes on them!

It's my birthday and I can cry if I want to well no, I'm not going to cry because... it's my birthday week!! It's the big 2-5 for me and I'm kind of freaking out. To be honest I'm having a bit of a quarter life crisis. What am I doing with my life, I ask myself. Where will I be in 5 years? Will I be married with kids? Where will I live? Will I still shoes?

The questions they're endless. Turning 25 means I'm a real adult (because before I was just a fake adult?). Anyways, the one thing I know for sure is I'm having a Kate Spade themed birthday party this weekend at my house. Stay tuned on Instagram for more sneak peeks. It will be beyond adorable!

How was everyone's Thanksgiving and long holiday? If it was anything like mine it was relaxing, delicious and full or tinsel and glitter (Christmas decorating). I mean all these Black Friday then Small Business Saturday followed by today's Cyber Monday makes for one sad wallet and one happy Patricia.

I don't know about you but I've had Taylor Swift's new album on repeat for the past two weeks. Seriously, I'm listening to it even as I type this. Are you a T Swift fan too? What's your favorite song? I can't even decide, the album is just that good.

I decided this holiday season I'm going to make ginger jars work. It's going to be pink, green blue and white with a dash of red. While I was vacationing in South Carolina last month I DIY some Christmas ornaments inspired by ginger jars. Side note: should I post a blog on that? 

Anyways, I'm loving the holiday collections that are starting to make their way into stores.

When do you start shopping for Christmas presents? Is it too early? But what if everything is sold out, or requires extra time for monograming. And then there's the holiday parties. You know pictures will be taken at each and you can't look back at Christmas '14 and see yourself wearing the same red dress in every picture.

Oh the struggle is real. So really when do you start shopping and outfit planning? Would you judge me if I start now?

Here's my motto for art, pillows and shoes... you can never have enough. Seriously the more the merrier in my book. My thing with pillows and art prints is they're relatively cheap updates for the home, minimum funds and minimum work for the switch-a-roo. I say why not change your pillow covers and print each season or holiday. Keep the relationship with your home fresh, ya feel me?

Or maybe that's just the little devil sitting on my shoulder trying to justify my recent purchases for my already furnished and quite packed little home...

I'm so sorry the last week or two on the blog have been sort of random and lacking. You're probably all like, "where'd ya go, Patricia?" It's been an insane two months, after the rush of Main Line Fashion Week, I visited family in South Carolina, planned the first month of Her Main Line events and memberships and had a mini trip to DC (or should I call it "The District"). Oh and my main gig Piqued PR, of course.

As you're reading this I'm doing some shopping. You didn't know? I'm on a mini vacation visiting family in Aiken, South Carolina for a few days. One of my favorite things to do while I'm away is shop. Heck, who am I kidding? My favorite thing to do anytime is shop. Duh. But while I'm hitting the boutiques, riding horses and eating lots of bad for you but so good food, you can enjoy some online shopping of some of my weekly finds! Because I don't just leave you hanging.

I'm on a reading kick. I actually love to read just it seems I never have time to actually pick up a book. I sadly can barely remember to find time to read my Bible for my weekly Bible study class. Shhh don't tell my group!

So my pattern tends to be this, pick up a book and read it straight through one weekend then wait like 3 months and do it all over again with another book. It's probably not the best way to absorb information, my brain basically goes into information overload but hey if it works...

I just finished #GIRLBOSS (thanks Haley for forgetting it in my car) and keep a list running in my iPhone notes on books I hope to read. What have you just read? Was it a good read?

You know you're old when your want list includes a hand mixer alongside your fall booties. When did my life become this boring and predictable? Actually I know the answer to that... when I was beyond thrilled to receive a new vacuum for Christmas last year. Recently I find myself buying 75% decor and home purchases and 25% clothing and accessories when I used to be in a fully committed relationship with fashion.
