This weekend was our first real taste of summer and it tasted so good... like watermelon and salty air! I can't wait to enjoy many more sunny days with trips to the shore and light clothing accessorized with bright colors.  Lindsay of Hattan Home introduced me to this JCrew sundress because she knows I'm crazy about pineapples. Oh and this line of Australian swimwear. Is it just us or does all the best styles come from down under?!

I would say that the spring weather brings out the color craving in me, but that would be a lie. I love color on a daily basis, no matter the season. Actually, the brighter the better. I think this Kenneth Cole bathing suit shows just enough skin for Memorial Day weekend but still lets me cover up my winter weight and paleness (hey, it's been a looooong winter). What fun pieces are you adding to your wardrobe.

We got our first real glimpse of spring. Here's to hoping it decides to come back and visit real soon. I wouldn't mind it as a permanent house guest, no matter how messy and annoying. I'm looking forward to spring florals and pastels becoming a staple over the jeans and riding boots I've been permanently rotating.

It's a well known fact that I sign off my emails with cheers. Why? I'm not quite sure, it's just habit now but I like to think it's because life is a celebration. There's no grander celebration than that. I'd like my life celebration to be accompanied by adorable cocktail napkins. It's really not about what you're drinking, but how you're drinking it.

This might be the best "want it, need it" list to date. I literally just purchased half the things listed and plan on purchasing the other half asap. MAY-JOR! My favorite is the pink chest, I know it would be the perfect edition to #PatriciasPalace. Since there are no men to rule the nest I can't think of any reason not add as much pink as possible, right? Married friends I know your jealous on the inside...

The entire world seems to be obsessing over all things mini and I'm totally on board! Mini candies, mini nail polishes now mini bags?! Yes, please sign me up. I adore the mini Celine tote but it's not in my budget, in the meantime Rebecca Minkoff's option should do just fine.

It's clearly no secret that I adore the color pink but I have to admit that navy and neutrals are a close second. You just can't go wrong with those classics. The new resort collection from Tory Burch is full of navy combos and I just can't get enough of the elegant prints she pairs with them.
