The anticipation has surely killed us but we no longer have to wait... the Milly for Banana Republic collection is finally in stores {and online}! It's like a colorful printed Christmas morning. I've been lusting for this collection ever since WWD broke the news and the past week of celeb spottings in the looks haven't helped my greedy case.

So what's on your list? I have that pleated maxi and embellished tee on, here's to hoping they have it at my local Banana.

My favorite song as a five-year-old was "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" by the Spin Doctors, so it's no surprise that I like things full of sass. Lots of it. We can't take ourselves too seriously and what better way to remind us than with some everyday items that make us chuckle. 

I first saw Ms. Ashley Brooke Designs' "Everyday I'm Hustlin" mug and I just had to get to sip my morning tea from. Lately I've been stumbling upon snarky little merchandise everywhere though and basically... I WANT IT ALL!

There's something about a structured tote that makes me feel put together even when I'm not. You know those mornings where you overslept your alarm (note: that did happen this morning) or where the humidity is just leaving your hair frizzy yet at the same time flat mess, or perhaps when you just hate your outfit. Well no matter what, when I'm toting around a structured bag I feel in charge and ready to take on the world.

It's no secret that I love trays. Lucite trays, ceramic trays, any kind of decorative trays to display my pretty baubles. When I first discovered Biscuit Home's adorable bedding I was smitten, then came the trays. Sold!

We imagine the Jenny tray in our entryway to throw our keys on.  The Mackenzie tray holding paperclips in our home office. Paul holding our iPhone charger in the kitchen.  The Alaina tray displaying our favorite jewels on our bedside table.  Lastly, Powell in our bathroom holding those soaps too pretty to use.

Wear it with your colored denim, over sundresses or even with boyfriend jeans. I find the print plays nicely with primary colors, still leaving you with lots of options.

At times I'm a bit of an independent woman (cue song) so I have to say, who needs a stud when you can just bring your own via accessories? Things are getting fierce in the fashion world because studs are quite literally spiking up everywhere. From jewelry to shoes even jeans and tops studs are everywhere. While I can't figure out how the whole washing process goes with studded clothing I think I'm safe with accessories. 

My favorites include neutral colors and bright gold for a classy touch that still evokes don't mess with me!

Hi Piqued PR world, my name is Erin Peterson and I am so excited to learn more about PR as an intern. I’m currently finishing up my junior year at West Chester University as a communication studies major with a love for PR.

1- What piques your interest regarding PR? 

What I love about PR is being able to share a company’s message and product with the public in fun and creative ways!

Currently my favorite social media sites are Pintrest and Twitter. Some of my favorite boards on Pintrest are anything with cute animals, especially dogs and of course Fashion boards!

My favorite accessories are purses I have way to many. Some of my favorite bags are by Michael Kors and Tory Burch.

In my free time I like to hang out with friends, and try sushi restaurants around the West Chester area.

Horizontally Un-Challenged

Saint James for Coach

Summer and stripes, was there ever a combo that went together as well? Definitely not. So when French knitwear icon Saint James teamed up with American staple Coach for a summer collection good things were bound to happen. Good things meaning lots and lots of nautical stripe action. 

The whole collection screams "if found, please take to the nearest beach" and by this for me I mean the Jersey Shore. I can't wait to be driving down with that mini sailboat dangling from my keys and laying on the beaches of Avalon in that retro bathing suit number. Tres chic, n'est- ce pas?     

May Flowers

Guess, Ivanka Trump, Manolo Blahnik, LK Bennett, Alice & Olivia   

You know the saying, April showers bring May flowers? Well in my case, May flowers are floral heels. Really, would you expect anything else from me? Last spring we saw florals all over apparel and I especially loved it mixed with other prints like stripes or polka dots. This season florals moved south down to the feet. I'm still adoring the print mixing though.

I've had my eyes on those LK Bennett heels for quite some time I may just have go for it. After all, these flowers will never wilt and die.
