I imagine pairing any of these with a silky one shoulder number for attending a wedding, with a full skirted girly dress for church then brunch and with jeans and a peplum top for a night out. Who said glitter didn't go with everything?

Charmed
Sometimes your accessories need accessories. Particularly your purse. It all started when I saw this Furbish bag charm. Pom-poms and an adorable little elephant? I was smitten. Then I kept seeing these Cinco Powell tassels on the bags of my favorite bloggers (hi Sadie+Stella and Brown Eyed Belle Julie). And since I love all things monogramed, you bet I had to track down some monogram purse charms.
So if you're on a bit of a budget and can't afford a new spring purse why not just jazz things up instead with a purse charm?

Off the Hook
Who knew the day would come when your iPhone had more accessories than you did? Not this gal. However, I can't stop buying trendy little add ons for my phone. I mean really, they make life that much easier.
Low battery? No problem. Scared of radiation? They've got an alternative. Not enough hands for your moolah, ID and phone? There's something that carries it all (no it's not a bulky purse). Hand cramping up from streaming the latest episode of The Walking Dead on your phone? Don't worry. Literally, there's an iPhone solution for it all.

Piqued of the Week
Dear 80 degree weather from two weeks ago, where'd you go? It has been oh so chilly here in PA the past week. So chilly that I actually pulled out my Lincoln Park Bootights to wear with a dress and booties. Just when you think you're safe to pull out your summer clothes, think again.

Anatomy of the Wedge
Ladies, I've found it! The perfect wedge. Meet Trish from Delman. While at first I may have been slightly biased by her name for obvious reasons, the Trish has surpassed my wildest shoe porn dreams. She's tall, comfy and goes with EVERYTHING! Here's exactly why I love her (and why you should too)...

Anchors Away
Has there ever been a time when nautical themes weren't in fashion? No, didn't think so either. Nothing is quite as preppy, classic and quite frankly American! Maybe I'm still feeling emotions from last week's horrific events (side note: was I the only one who was glued to the news) but I'm feeling pretty proud to be American. While I do love an American flag perhaps a nautical anchor is easier to style. Plus they usually follow the red, white and blue theme.

Framed
Designing on a budget can be a challenge. Has anyone else noticed how expensive wall art can be? Trust. It is. While perusing through Pinterest I stumbled upon these beautiful framed scarves as wall art. Simple, chic and inexpensive? You have me.
Here are some of my favorite scarf options, a mix of colors and patterns:

Glam Pad
Sometimes a gal just needs one. A glam pad, that is. Disregard the males in your life and just go for it! Because glitz, fun prints and of course pink, just rock my world. I don't think I need to provide a further explanation.

Poolside
No, I'm not poolside. Although, I really do wish. But this warm weather we've finally been experiencing has me dreaming of the weekends ahead by the pool. Nothing is better than donning your newest swimsuit, sprawling out on the lounge chair and reading a humorous novel (or gossip mag, if that's more your speed). As soon as the temperatures reach above 80 that's where you can find me. Don't worry I apply sunscreen.

Tuesday Tip
One of the most important things to remember as a young professional is to use social media to your advantage. I seriously tell this to EVERYONE, well those who will listen at least. Social media gives you the ability to connect with quite literally everyone. Those you've never actually met in person, those you're dying to meet and those you hope to continue a connection.
When I first graduated from college I was a little (okay, totally) freaked about finding a job in the poor economy. Luckily though, I ended up landing a job less than a month after graduation through, believe it or not, Twitter.

When I first graduated from college I was a little (okay, totally) freaked about finding a job in the poor economy. Luckily though, I ended up landing a job less than a month after graduation through, believe it or not, Twitter.
Here's how to make it happen...
- Make sure all your social accounts reflect the new "professional" you. Delete all party pictures, refrain from cursing and try to always be positive or at least funny if you are secretly complaining about something.
- Use the descriptions of all your accounts to explain that you're a recent grad from {wherever} looking for a {whatever} position.
- Follow/like ALL firms in your field in the desired location you hope to work in. Follow those who do what you want to do or whom you admire.
- Interact and take part in discussion with those you are following and liking.

The Bag Lady
If you're like me you can't carry a small purse. I just don't feel safe leaving the house without hand sanitizer, an iPhone chargers, a bottle of water, snacks, an agenda book, a notepad, something to read and hand cream. I mean, you never know when an emergency or boredom is going to happen, one must ALWAYS be prepared. It literally pains me to bring a clutch out at night with only a phone and credit card. I'm like the Mary-Kate Olson bag lady of Unionville because often times I'll carry a handbag and a tote. Yes, both. At once.
So with spring sort of approaching (it's 70 one day then 40 the next) I've decided it's time to start the summer tote hunt. My requirements; colorful, fun (or funny, see Kate Spade tote) and of course large.

Have you spotted a larger than life summer tote yet?

RIP Lilly Pulitzer
What sad news that I woke up to today, that the socialite turned designer Lilly Pulitzer passed away. I've always been a Lilly girl, celebrating her cheeky designs, bright colors & even brighter outlook on life.
So in honor of Lilly, let's make every hour happy hour & dress like life is a party!

Week Rewind
What a week it's been! It kicked off with Easter, which meant spending time with family and of course eating lots of sweets. Oh and you know, just launching the Piqued Public Relations website! Seriously, thanks to my amazing team Kelsey, Natalie and Cheyenne who helped put it together.
The middle of the week was just as much of a pinch me moment though. I traveled up to NYC to meet the rest of the Local Levo Leaders from around the world (as far as London!) to hear Sheryl Sandberg speak at Office Hour. Never have I felt so much power in one room. As Beyonce says, "Who run the world? GIRLS!"
Below are just some of this week's highlights captured on Instagram but you can follow for more!

Lean In with Us
Yesterday I hopped on a train and headed up to the big city, NYC that is. While I often am up there for work this time was more of a personal excuse, Levo League was hosting a live Office Hour with Sheryl Sandberg and invited us Local Levo Leaders to join. And well, when Sheryl Sandberg calls, you bet you go!
I highly recommend everyone read Sheryl's book, Lean In. While I as well as some of you have never worked in corporate America, or even have no aspirations of doing so the book still is worth reading. It offers so many fascinating facts that I wasn't aware as well as many of Sheryl's very personal experiences throughout her career and personal life. The facts alone are enough to have you high off girl power the second you start reading. So even if you don't dream of becoming the CEO of Facebook it gives you a new perspective to do everything you can to support those gal pals of yours that do hold those dreams.
Let's just say that I picked up the Saturday afternoon and had until Wednesday to read it but finished it in less than 24 hours! Really, I was hooked (or just amped up on Easter candy).
Here are some of the fascinating facts both from Sheryl's book and from the live Office Hour.
