I remember back in middle school everyone looked forward to their birthday when during the morning televised announcements they shared the birthdays and you got to see your name on tv! Life clearly was a lot simpler back then if this is what we looked forward to right? Or even before then as a child I remember when my parents would have the local newspaper announce my birthday with my picture and all. I guess that was before they realized the safety threat in doing such. Regardless, all of these were the reasons I've developed a love for birthdays.
